This book has three distinctives. The first two aren’t that unusual; a ribbon in a child’s book that is somewhat unusual and secondly printed end paper which I’m seeing more frequently, but the most unusual is the “round” printed picture of the little boy. It is stamp deeply into the cover. Indeed, it’s a glued, perfectly round die-cut circle that when you rub your finger over the front of the book you don’t feel the bumped printed paper at all.
