This book pictured is open flat at the center. It’s a board book. All you see when the pages are open at the very center is a crease. You don’t see separate sheets like in a perfect bound book. You don’t see separate secyions as in a smyth sewn book. The open section is a full sheet mounted to the sheets behind it. If you turn a page, it is double thick. If you the printer print 10pt stock, each page is 20pt. We’re seeing more and more board books. Some board books have very thick pages because between 2 (e.g., 10pt stock) panels a thicker board, e.g., 30pt or 40pt board is mounted. Most board books are egg shaped to some extent or maybe it’s simply round cornering in numerous size radius or shaped like this one. Some of them are of circles for the shaping of board books we have three, PMC/high-die die cutters up to 11 inches, much larger than most of our competitors.
