HEXAGONAL BOX

I’ve featured Setup Boxes recently, a product I also call “chocolate boxes.” Well, this Hexagonal Setup box is unlike anything I’ve ever seen! Disclaimer: Our company did not produce this specific box, but we could easily make these using a combination of our machinery and hand assembly.

This Hexagonal Setup Box can be broken down into three components:

1. The Lid

2. The Four Interior Trays

3. Creased Multiple Panel Backer

The Setup Box Lid has six sides and needs to be made by hand.

Producing the long creased wrapped Setup Box backer is done automatically on one of our casemakers (they produce more than book covers!). We can produce cases or covers up to 29 ½” long!

Next, hand work is required to produce each of the trays, so this step is the most time-intensive step. Once assembled, each tray is glued onto the long backer.
