As I mention in this video, we love multiple operation projects. The piece featured was made in six stages– done all in-house! The die cutting portion of this Document Box Folder project is pretty standard, followed by full-surface gluing of the panel.

Choosing the right magnet for this capacity folder, however, was not overly simple because magnets come in a range of sizes and strengths. If the magnet pull is too soft, the flap will open. If the magnet pull is too strong, the flap will bend when the user tries to open the folder. We have a full range of magnets in different pull strengths, which makes prototype testing easy for our customers.

The die cut sheets are formed into a high-capacity wallet folder on our box gluing machines and then the flap is folded. Our machines can form the box pockets automatically up to 1 inch thick.
