The product I’m showing in this email is die-cut Collapsible Beverage Carriers. This type of carrier ships flat but has a bottom that “locks” into place when erected. The end-user simply squeezes two sides together to erect the carrier, which is sturdy enough to carry between 2 and 6 beverage bottles or cans. The patent for this type of locking bottom lapsed years ago and is also referred to as a Hymes bottom, lock bottom or crash bottom.
We easily produce Collapsible Beverage Carriers with all operations done in-house. In addition, to die-cutting, we can also add pressure-sensitive labels in line during the box gluing process (see below).
For standard lock bottom boxes, we can add reinforcing corner brackets and special handles. Collapsible Beverage Carriers can also have clear plastic windowing. Whether your client wants a collapsible carrier or die-cut box with a sturdy lock bottom, give us a call!
