We do traditional, durable book sewing. Smyth sewing is by far the most common method used in almost all sewn books and is suitable for both coated and uncoated stocks. The process involves tying printed signatures together with a needle and thread. The thread that ties the signature together also allows the book to lay flat. The final stage requires dropping the sewn book block into one of our Muller perfect binders, drawing the cover and final trimming.
